Group Senior ESG Controller (Finance, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading the development and enhancement of a comprehensive ESG controlling and reporting framework for a global organization, ensuring transparency and compliance while supporting long-term strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the first CSRD compliant sustainability report due in 2027.
• Maintain and enhance ESG controlling frameworks, focusing on KPIs, data governance, documentation, and internal controls.
• Ensure the quality of ESG data and readiness for audits, collaborating with finance and sustainability teams as well as external assurance partners.
• Serve as a trusted expert on ESG reporting standards and metrics, simplifying complex requirements into actionable solutions.
• Support integrated reporting efforts to strengthen the connection between ESG disclosures and financial reporting.

Skills

Education

• Relevant degree in finance, sustainability, or a related field is preferred.
