Graduate Software Engineer (Aarhus)

Job summary

This role involves contributing to the development of a new technology stack for energy trading in Aarhus, Denmark. As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will participate in a global trainee program and work closely with a local team to design and implement high-performance systems that support trading operations.

Qualifications

• Final year student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, graduating in 2027
• Strong programming skills in C++ or Java
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Genuine interest in financial markets (prior knowledge not required)
• Full professional fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technology that supports energy trading
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
• Create real-time pricing and trading systems, as well as analytics tools
• Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers
• Contribute to the growth and culture of a new local team in Aarhus
