Job summary

This role serves as the senior scientific authority in the Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) Consulting team, focusing on patient-centered solutions in healthcare. The position involves leading scientific strategy and providing expertise in COA measurement science to enhance client solutions.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in COA types (PRO, ObsRO, ClinRO, PerfO) and their clinical applications.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and developing scientific talent.
  • Strong background in regulatory interactions and endpoint strategy development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee consulting activities within the Patient Centered Solutions team.
  • Develop and implement COA endpoint and Patient Experience Data (PED) strategies for clinical development programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical and biotechnology sponsors, ensuring scientific quality and best practices.
  • Guide the development of new COA instruments, ensuring they are patient-centered and scientifically robust.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance scientific capabilities and outputs.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal leadership and client presentations.

Skills

  • Expertise in COA measurement science and patient experience data.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client engagement and team leadership.

Education

  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with digital health technology tools and qualitative research methodologies.
