Global Process Owner (Finance, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing process excellence within a finance organization, driving process maturity, and engaging with senior leadership. The Global Process Owner will lead global process design and standards, manage transformation initiatives, and collaborate with various stakeholders to improve efficiency and standardization across finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies and objectives for global finance processes, aligning with organizational goals.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote process efficiency and adherence to standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmark processes for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT on system upgrades and digital technology implementation.
• Approve process changes and define functional requirements for system solutions, focusing on automation.
• Work with the Finance Shared Center to enhance process operations and quality.

Qualifications

Competencies

• Master's degree in accountancy, finance, business management, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in process ownership and implementation in a global context.
• Strong project management and transformation experience from multiple global organizations.
• Familiarity with process documentation and knowledge transfer methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA; knowledge of SAP Signavio is advantageous.
• Understanding of current and emerging technologies, especially in Automation and GenAI.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong execution mindset with a focus on implementing ideas and concepts.
• Action-oriented with a collaborative approach.
• In-depth understanding of key finance processes.
• Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and creative thinking for standardization and efficiency.

Additional Information

This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, requiring on-site work weekly and occasional travel (up to 20 days per year).
