Job summary

The role of Global Head of Accounting involves leading the global Accounting function within a dynamic aviation company. This position requires a hands-on approach to ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance while fostering collaboration across international finance teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in accounting principles and finance operations.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams across geographies.
• Track record of driving business improvements and solving complex problems.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, consolidation tools, Excel, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a global Accounting team of 12 members, promoting effective collaboration and performance.
• Ensure financial integrity and compliance across the group, including day-to-day accounting, monthly closing, and IFRS compliant reporting.
• Oversee credit control management, vendor invoice processing, and cash flow management.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Serve as the functional owner of key financial reporting systems.
