Job summary

This role involves leading the global Accounting function for an organization in the aviation sector, focusing on operational excellence and strategic initiatives. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in accounting principles and finance operations.
• Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams across geographies.
• Track record of driving business improvements and solving complex problems.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, consolidation tools, Excel, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a global Accounting team of 12 members across multiple locations.
• Ensure effective collaboration and performance within the Accounting function.
• Champion a business-oriented mindset within the team to enhance value creation.
• Oversee financial integrity and compliance, including bookkeeping, monthly closing, and IFRS compliant reporting.
• Manage credit control, vendor invoice processing, cash flow, and banking relationships.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Serve as the functional owner of key financial reporting systems.
