About the role

Job summary

This role focuses on driving business development for global Contract Logistics activities within the Consumer sector, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with large Consumer accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Consumer sector and logistics business, particularly in Contract Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in the fashion industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale business development projects and securing new business wins.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while managing existing accounts in the Consumer segment.
  • Lead the Contract Logistics-Consumer business development team and coordinate projects during the tender and implementation phases.
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to drive growth and execute the global Consumer strategy.
  • Conduct gap analysis of current services and prepare responses to customer needs.
  • Manage key sales processes from initial investigation to successful implementation.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of warehousing processes and future trends.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels and cultures.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to set and manage one's own agenda.

Education

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with business development tools and CRM systems is advantageous.
