Generator Specialist (On-site, Aarhus)

Job summary

This role involves leading generator verification efforts across innovative turbine technologies, focusing on system performance and reliability in the wind energy sector. The position requires collaboration with international experts and aims to contribute significantly to the green transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in product development and verification related to drivetrain or generator technologies.
• Proven experience in complex, global project organizations.
• Specialization in generator domains such as Electromagnetics, Thermal behavior, or Noise & Vibration (NVH).
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own system integration and functional leadership in generator verification across multiple projects.
• Define and enhance verification strategies for new generator designs.
• Lead generator verification activities including planning, testing, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with design engineers on FMEA processes to develop verification methodologies.
• Establish and maintain guidelines and best practices across projects.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Act as the domain sign-off authority during peer reviews and key milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers.
