About the role

Job summary

This role involves providing technical support for financial products, focusing on enhancing client experiences. The position is part of a Client Service team that addresses complex client inquiries and issues related to financial reporting and billing processes.

Qualifications

  • Recently completed a Master’s degree in a finance-related field.
  • Relevant work experience in fintech or a client-facing role, particularly in software application support.
  • Familiarity with billing and collection processes, simple accounting, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients daily to ensure optimal service delivery, primarily through ticketing systems and meetings.
  • Analyze and resolve complex client issues, coordinating with internal resources as necessary.
  • Assist clients with financial product inquiries and discrepancies in financial reporting and billing.
  • Participate in the Major Incident response team to address urgent client problems.

Skills

  • Experience with databases, SQL, and Excel is advantageous.
  • General interest in IT and familiarity with APIs and payment processors like Adyen is beneficial.

Education

  • Master’s degree in a finance-related field.

Tools

  • Experience with ERP systems, web services, and financial applications is preferred.
