Financial Analyst (AI & Automation, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role focuses on developing and implementing AI-driven financial products and automation solutions within the finance department. The position requires a strong foundation in finance operations and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance financial processes.

Qualifications

• Background in finance operations, accounting, or financial analysis with a solid understanding of financial processes and data integrity.
• Proficiency in agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, with experience in deploying working code.
• Competence in Power BI or similar BI tools, capable of building dashboards and data models.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial data accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and finance teams, with a self-directed approach to problem-solving.
• Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver AI and automation products for finance, ensuring thorough testing and deployment.
• Identify and automate finance processes to reduce errors and save time.
• Maintain and enhance finance reporting dashboards and data infrastructure, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
• Stay current with AI advancements and apply them to finance operations.
• Provide support during critical financial periods, particularly with technical issues related to data models and reporting.

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and finance teams.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, computer science, or a related field.
