Job summary

This role involves supporting the finance team with various tasks, including reconciliations, cost control, and variance analyses, while contributing to the implementation of an ERP system. The position is integral to the integration of AI into financial workflows.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in finance roles such as financial controlling, accounting, or finance coordination; recent graduates with relevant internships are also welcome.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to financial tasks.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of AI and automation tools to minimize manual financial tasks.
  • Manage cost controlling and allocation across group entities.
  • Prepare monthly analyses and reconciliations, including balance-sheet accounts and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee intercompany invoicing and support inventory control for the Australian entity.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Microsoft Business Central through testing and documentation.
  • Provide backup for accounts receivable and accounts payable and assist with annual audit preparations.

Skills

  • Interest in applying AI and automation in finance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with limited supervision.

Education

  • Relevant degree in finance or accounting is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with sufficient experience.
