Field Service Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves providing a variety of services including installation, repair, maintenance, and commissioning of equipment in the mining and minerals industries. The position is based in Copenhagen and requires on-site work.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Technical Qualification
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and inspection of minerals processing equipment.
• Experience with equipment such as Mills, Crushers, Screens, Flotation cells, Separators, Thickeners, and Filters.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including drive assemblies, hydraulic systems, and slurry handling equipment.
• Ability to conduct detailed inspections and identify mechanical issues.
• Knowledge of process plant operations.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
• Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours.
• Valid driver’s license and medically fit for site work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance supervision, troubleshooting, and training at customer sites.
• Perform installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Assist customers with maintenance planning and spare parts demand.
• Coordinate service activities and liaise with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations for services and upgrades.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to support business development.
