Job summary

An external faculty member is sought to teach or co-teach an elective course titled 'AI and the Future of Clinical Care' for undergraduate students from North American universities in Copenhagen during the fall semester of 2027. The course will focus on the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare, examining its applications in research, diagnostics, treatment processes, and administrative tasks, while also addressing ethical implications.

Qualifications

• Relevant educational background (e.g., cand.scient, humanbiolog, cand.med)
• Practical experience in research, biotech, or pharma
• Experience in teaching is advantageous but not mandatory
• Proficiency in academic English
• Willingness to engage with students academically and socially
• Openness to pedagogical support
• Ability to implement interactive teaching methods

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate teaching and experiential learning activities
• Develop course content with assistance from academic staff
• Evaluate, grade, and provide feedback on student work throughout the semester
• Conduct a total of 23 lectures (80 minutes each) and 2 field studies per semester
