Digital Learning Consultant (Remote)

Job summary

The role involves conducting needs analysis, designing, and developing online learning courses, ensuring their integration with the Learning Management System (LMS), and supporting end-users and subject matter experts. The consultant will also measure and evaluate learning initiatives and provide advisory support to internal stakeholders on digital learning matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional design, adult learning, learning technologies, or online and distance education. Degrees in related fields are acceptable with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in instructional design and managing e-learning course production.
• Additional professional training and certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analysis and design online learning courses.
• Develop content and courses on the LMS.
• Support end-users and subject matter experts, including translation of courses.
• Measure, evaluate, and report on learning initiatives.
• Advise internal stakeholders on digital learning questions.

Skills

• Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and video production tools.
• Experience with LMS solutions like Totara and Moodle.
• Knowledge of tools for translation and accessibility of learning resources.
• Exposure to international contexts and multicultural environments.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of French, Spanish, or Arabic is desirable.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields as specified.

Tools

• Articulate 360, Totara, Moodle, and other e-learning development tools.
