Job summary

The role involves supporting the coordination of events and conference services within a prominent international organization located in Copenhagen. The assistant will work under the supervision of the Head of Communications, ensuring effective communication and logistical support for various meetings and events.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education is required; a bachelor's degree in Communications, Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in event management and coordination is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate arrangements and bookings for meetings and conferences.
  • Liaise with conference organizers and service providers.
  • Ensure proper setup of meeting rooms and public spaces.
  • Organize visits by external groups to the facility.
  • Develop communication materials for events and ensure visibility across platforms.
  • Capture and disseminate key messages and outcomes from events.
  • Support knowledge sharing and stakeholder outreach initiatives.

Skills

  • Strong event management and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage logistics, including venue identification and catering.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.

Education

  • Secondary education is required; a university degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with communication platforms and event management tools is beneficial.
