Job summary

The role of ESG Controller involves developing and managing ESG reporting for a leading sustainable organization. This position is key in operationalizing CSRD and enhancing data collection through intelligent systems and tools.

Qualifications

  • Relevant master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Professional experience in ESG and sustainability from large companies or consulting firms
  • Strong strategic skills and business acumen, with the ability to manage large datasets
  • Effective stakeholder engagement abilities
  • High-quality output with attention to detail and a comprehensive perspective
  • Advanced communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information
  • Knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, Double Materiality Assessments, and EU Taxonomy
  • Experience with automation and AI tools for process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Prepare consolidated ESG sections for annual reports
  • Develop audit materials and liaise with auditors
  • Conduct double materiality analysis and due diligence
  • Consolidate data across subsidiaries and holding companies
  • Update guidelines and ensure ESRS assurance alignment
  • Advise on ESG data and sustainability legislation
  • Collaborate to enhance ESG data collection and reporting
  • Prepare internal ESG reports for senior management and the board

Education

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • AI integrated systems for data collection and reporting
