Engineering Manager (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leading the GenAI Platform team, which is responsible for the internal AI infrastructure that supports customer-facing AI features. The Engineering Manager will oversee the transition to a hybrid architecture, ensuring high-quality delivery and team development while managing stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in engineering management within platform or infrastructure teams.
• Deep technical expertise in AI infrastructure and experience with architectural discussions.
• Proven ability to manage senior engineers and lead teams through significant changes.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GenAI Platform team, focusing on delivery, quality, and team development.
• Own the execution of the platform roadmap, including LLM gateway and hybrid architecture transition.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to align the platform roadmap with product demand.
• Drive hiring efforts to build a capable team for delivering the technical vision.
• Collaborate with SRE on reliability standards and production readiness.
• Represent the team in leadership discussions, translating progress and blockers into actionable insights.
• Oversee cost and resource management for the team.

Skills

• Strong platform engineering and data space understanding.
• Ability to engage in hands-on technical work and make informed trade-off decisions.
• Up-to-date with technology changes and passionate about developing agentic solutions.

Education

• Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in engineering management.

Tools

• Familiarity with AWS, Kotlin, Python, Kubernetes, LiteLLM, BrainTrust, and Temporal.
