Embedded Software Developer (On-site, Copenhagen)

Job summary

Contribute to the development of innovative connectivity solutions for hearing technologies by working on embedded software that connects hearing instruments to the digital world.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience in C programming for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with communication protocols such as Bluetooth, SPI, I2C, and UART is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of embedded system architecture and debugging techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software components across the system stack.
• Design, implement, and optimize low-level and system-level functionality in C.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Build and maintain unit tests and automated testing pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate system features.
• Debug and resolve issues in complex embedded environments.
• Optimize software for performance, reliability, and power efficiency.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders on interfaces and integrations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Skills

• Proficiency in C programming.
• Knowledge of embedded systems and relevant communication protocols.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.

Tools

• Experience with the open-source platform Zephyr is a plus.
