Electrical Engineer

Job summary

Contribute to the development of energy projects through proposal engineering and support electrical engineering for power plants globally. This role involves both office-based tasks and occasional site visits to ensure effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering with an electrical focus.
• Experience in electrical engineering within power generation, industrial facilities, or similar environments.
• Familiarity with MV/LV electrical systems, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
• Background in technical tendering and proposal engineering.
• Proficient in preparing engineering documentation and technical specifications.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering for EPC proposals and support tender activities from concept to submission.
• Develop technical concepts and prepare specifications while assisting in proposal costing.
• Design electrical modifications and system upgrades for existing plants.
• Maintain engineering documentation and deliverables for projects.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support for operating plants.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and site implementation as needed.
