Job summary

An experienced Domain Architect is needed to support the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, focusing on the transition of innovative products into efficient production and service environments. This role involves defining and governing the architecture necessary for manufacturing and servicing new products, ensuring integration with broader Enterprise Architecture and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an Architect in Operations or Product Development, preferably in MedTech, electronics, or regulated industries.
• Practical knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML.
• Strong systems thinking and structured approach to architecture and governance.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
• Background in Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the Operations Architecture for New Product Introduction.
• Drive architectural decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Apply Systems Engineering principles to improve operations architecture.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Agile Release Trains, R&D, IT, and Operations.
• Ensure architecture supports manufacturability, testability, scalability, and compliance.
• Support trade studies and architectural evaluations.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, architecture, and implementation.
• Contribute to product development, production systems, and test environments.

Education

• Relevant degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Tools
