Director, Technical Account Management (Remote)

Job summary

This role is a leadership position in a rapidly growing cybersecurity SaaS company, focusing on managing a team of Technical Account Managers who serve as trusted advisors to clients. The position emphasizes both people leadership and technical expertise in cybersecurity and threat intelligence.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years of experience in client-facing cybersecurity consulting or technical account management, with a strong background in threat intelligence.
• Previous roles as a SOC analyst, threat researcher, or cybersecurity consultant are preferred.
• Proven experience in leading and developing technical teams, ideally in B2B SaaS environments.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, cyber threat intelligence, and modern security operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Technical Account Managers.
• Hire, onboard, and coach team members while assessing capabilities and future needs.
• Enhance TAM processes and workflows focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Provide advanced technical guidance on cybersecurity and threat intelligence to customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to address technical challenges and improve customer outcomes.
• Establish technical escalation processes and develop KPIs to measure TAM impact on customer success.
• Participate in customer visits and industry events to strengthen relationships and provide technical expertise.

Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Experience with APIs and webhooks, along with basic Python development skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with SaaS solutions and security technologies is essential.
