Director of Merchandising Controlling & OTB

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing global merchandising performance by integrating commercial strategy, financial performance, and operational execution. The Director will influence key decisions that impact the business and act as a partner across various departments.

Qualifications

• Over 6–8 years of experience in Finance, Merchandising, or Supply Chain.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams.
• Background in retail, fashion, or FMCG is advantageous.
• Familiarity with global, matrix organizations and S&OP processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive global performance steering by optimizing tracking across sell-in, sell-out, inventory, revenue, and units.
• Lead the Open-to-Buy (OTB) agenda, aligning commercial priorities with inventory and financial plans.
• Shape the S&OP agenda by influencing demand-supply decisions and balancing growth with operational realities.
• Improve planning and governance processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of 3–4 members, fostering collaboration and accountability.
