Director, Antitrust & Competition Law Counsel (Remote)

Job summary

This role involves providing expert antitrust and competition law counsel within a global legal team, focusing on commercial and transactional activities while supporting compliance initiatives. The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in the UK or Western Europe.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and qualification in the UK, EU (preferably Belgium or another EU Member State), or equivalent jurisdiction.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in antitrust and competition law.
• Proven experience advising on commercial antitrust issues, including distribution, pricing, and competitor interactions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, practical antitrust guidance to business teams on strategies and initiatives.
• Advise on pricing, distribution arrangements, and competitor interactions.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of the antitrust compliance program.
• Develop and deliver tailored training materials for business audiences.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and investigations by competition authorities globally.
• Provide support on merger control matters and contribute to transaction diligence and integration planning.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to improve processes for managing antitrust matters.
