Job summary

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in digital fundraising and marketing within an international humanitarian organization. The role is part of the Supporter Engagement Section and involves various tasks related to donor experience, retention, acquisition, and digital analytics.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or current student in a relevant field, having completed at least two years of undergraduate studies.
  • Not eligible if related to a current UNHCR staff member.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the donor mailbox and respond to queries from international donors.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to maintain donor information accuracy.
  • Assist in producing fundraising emails and managing the email marketing platform.
  • Research digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Audit and test donation pages for improved user experience.
  • Manage and optimize paid search and social media accounts.
  • Create assets using Photoshop and Canva templates.
  • Conduct data quality audits in Google Analytics.
  • Provide administrative support for events and workshops.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Good administrative abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in digital fundraising, marketing, or social media is desirable.
  • Copywriting skills and knowledge of CRM tools are advantageous.

  • Candidates must be recent graduates or current students in a relevant field.
