Job summary

The Development Engineer is responsible for enhancing and standardizing manufacturing processes to achieve operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role involves collaboration with various teams to identify and implement improvements in productivity, cost reduction, and product quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and process monitoring.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience using data to drive process improvements and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Danish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize manufacturing processes across global production sites.
  • Provide hands-on technical support for complex production challenges.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Support the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and R&D teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Analyze production data to implement measurable improvements.
  • Develop and maintain process standards and technical documentation.
  • Mentor and support the development of engineers and technicians.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Quality and HSE standards.
  • Maintain a customer-focused mindset while supporting manufacturing teams worldwide.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

Tools

  • Familiarity with manufacturing process monitoring tools and data analysis software.
