Data Validation Manager (Manufacturing, Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing data quality and statistical practices to support product development and manufacturing processes. The Data Validation Manager will ensure that product specifications and approvals are based on thorough analysis, contributing to improved product performance and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Validation & Qualification, preferably in engineering or manufacturing.
• Educational background in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of injection moulding and plastics.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze measurement, process, and quality data to facilitate data-driven decisions.
• Conduct capability studies, including Cp/Cpk analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Support statistical documentation and data validation for approval processes.
• Lead Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities in projects.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for product development.
• Develop dashboards and automated reports for process monitoring.
• Prepare structured reports on data trends for strategic decision-making.
• Foster a data-driven culture and identify opportunities for innovation.

Skills

• Proficiency in data analysis, cleaning, and visualization.
• Strong communication skills for presenting validation results to stakeholders.
• Experience with visualization tools like Volume Graphics and PiWeb.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Tools

• Visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau).
• Statistical analysis tools for SPC and capability analysis.
• Reporting and dashboard automation tools.
