Data Scientist (On-site)

Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Data Scientist to join the FP&A team, focusing on predictive modeling and applied AI to support senior leadership. This role offers significant visibility and opportunities for growth within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or analytics engineering, preferably in a SaaS or subscription business.
• Proficient in Python, with experience in libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
• Familiarity with NLP and LLMs, including prompting and deploying language models.
• Proven experience in building predictive models used in production settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of transforming open questions into testable hypotheses.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and articulate predictive models relevant to business processes, including classification, regression, and time-series forecasting.
• Utilize NLP and LLMs to enhance analytical workflows and address commercial questions.
• Present model outputs in user-friendly formats, enhancing Power BI reports on the Microsoft Fabric data platform.
• Design and analyze commercial experiments to evaluate effectiveness before scaling.
• Conduct scenario analysis to support strategic leadership decisions.

Skills

• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Experience with A/B testing and causal inference methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Education

• Relevant degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Proficient in Power BI, DAX, and/or Power Query is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL and experience with data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery is advantageous.
