Job summary

The Data Protection Lead will oversee the implementation of the Data Protection Compliance Framework across the Nordic countries, ensuring adherence to privacy laws and regulations. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain compliance and promote a culture of data privacy within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in Data Protection or Information Security, preferably in a compliance-related role.
  • Project management skills are essential.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CIPP are advantageous.
  • Experience in managing data incidents and breaches is desirable.
  • Proficient in English and at least one Nordic language, with functional knowledge of other Nordic languages.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Data Protection Compliance Framework project for the Nordics.
  • Collaborate with the Global Privacy and Data Trust Office to uphold Nordic Data Protection guidelines.
  • Ensure timely execution of operational data privacy compliance requirements.
  • Advocate for data protection and enhance the culture of data privacy within the organization.
  • Advise on decisions impacting data protection, including conducting Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Work with stakeholders to monitor compliance with regulations and best practices.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to critically analyze situations and make informed decisions.

Education

  • Relevant third-level qualification is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with data protection compliance tools and frameworks.
