Data Platform Engineer (Biopharmaceutical, Hellerup)

Job summary

This role involves building and maintaining a modern cloud-based data platform, with opportunities for growth into a leadership position as Data Platform Owner. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree, preferably a master’s in Data Engineering or Software Engineering
• 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Databricks in a production setting
• Strong knowledge of dbt, including models, tests, and macros
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD, and IaC
• Experience in documentation and technical platform enablement
• Ability to support multiple development teams and balance operational tasks with improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and enhance the cloud-based data platform
• Assist platform users with onboarding, troubleshooting, and best practices
• Develop and maintain frameworks, templates, and standards for data projects
• Contribute to platform documentation and self-service guidance
• Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure components and access control
• Ensure platform security and compliance in a regulated environment
• Serve as a technical partner for teams utilizing the platform
