Data Engineer (On-site, Aarhus)

Job summary

Lead the transformation of a major renewable energy data platform by modernizing cloud data warehousing and mentoring fellow engineers. This role focuses on unlocking the value of data from numerous power plants globally.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining data products in hybrid environments.
• Proficient in advanced SQL, ELT design patterns, and optimizing data flow/workload performance.
• Experience with data migration from on-premises to cloud ETL and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with Azure services, Snowflake, and DBT.
• Practical experience in data modeling within cloud data warehouses.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Python, and Py-Spark is a plus.
