Data Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves supporting the operationalization of a Data Cloud across international markets, focusing on practical data engineering to create revenue-generating assets. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams and external partners to turn data partnerships into usable workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related fields.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Practical experience with SQL for data querying and transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with AWS services, especially S3 and Athena; experience with Glue is preferred.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data movement between systems.
• Experience with structured and semi-structured data formats.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate data workflows for partnerships.
• Create processes for data ingestion, transformation, and replication.
• Evaluate incoming datasets for quality and usability.
• Write scripts for data preparation and transformation.
• Query large datasets using SQL and Athena, generating reports as needed.
• Produce clear technical documentation for data processes and integrations.
• Communicate with technical contacts at data partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams across various functions.

Skills

• Proficient in SQL and Python.

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT workflows and data ingestion.
