Data Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves supporting the Data & Intelligence team in building data pipelines for renewable energy projects, specifically wind farms and solar projects. The position is based in Copenhagen and focuses on ensuring reliable and scalable data solutions for operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role; recent graduates with a strong passion for data engineering are encouraged to apply.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data processing pipelines and data flows across systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data pipelines and processes.
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and availability of daily data flows for analytics and reporting.
• Contribute to the development of proprietary wind farm operations and performance solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data guidance.
• Build and maintain documentation for products, tools, and processes.

Skills

• Experience with Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, etc.) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with modern data engineering technologies (Databricks, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Education

• Relevant degree in a technical field.

• Microsoft Azure infrastructure, Python, SQL, and various data engineering tools.
