About the role

Job summary

The role involves guiding customers through their cloud journey with AWS, ensuring effective collaboration among AWS teams to deliver customer outcomes. The Customer Solutions Manager will leverage experience in cloud transformations to assist customers in operational, educational, and governance aspects of AWS adoption.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in customer-facing technology roles related to cloud adoption or IT program delivery.
  • Proven experience leading customer initiatives with defined business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with various technology domains including compute, networking, data, security, and AI/ML.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions and provide best practice guidance.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting to senior management and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive collaboration between sales, support, solutions architecture, and professional services teams.
  • Develop and execute education plans and roadmaps aligned with customer business outcomes.
  • Build business cases to ensure adoption leads to measurable results like efficiency gains and cost savings.
  • Utilize emerging technologies to enhance delivery and identify risks.

Skills

  • Strong delivery and change management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and lead virtual teams effectively.

Education

  • Background in engineering, information technology, or program management preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate and AWS AI Practitioner are required within 6 months of hire.

Tools

  • Familiarity with solution architecture concepts across various cloud service categories.
