Job summary

This role is focused on driving growth in designated market sectors within the mining industry, emphasizing the capture and dissemination of customer insights. Reporting to the Customer & Market Insights Manager, the position involves collaboration across various functions to align commercial views with customer needs and support revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing commercial growth strategies in the mining sector.
  • Experience working with mining customers across multiple international regions.
  • Strong decision-making skills in commercial negotiations and pricing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in data analysis using CRM, Power BI, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the commercial expert for the mining sector, enabling Sales to meet revenue targets.
  • Lead efforts to win contracts and tenders.
  • Conduct global field sales work to enhance Sales’ expertise.
  • Capture and share customer insights with relevant teams.
  • Design go-to-market strategies tailored to target sub-sectors.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate customer insights into product development and sales strategies.
  • Develop solution selling capabilities for Sales to enhance customer value propositions.
  • Maintain a network of market contacts and represent the company at events.
