CSA Package Owner / Lead (Pharma Construction, Copenhagen)

Job summary

An experienced CSA Package Owner / Lead is needed for a significant pharmaceutical construction project in Copenhagen, Denmark. This role involves overseeing civil, structural, and architectural elements of a pharma manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Over 10 years of experience in senior CSA roles on major construction projects
• Proven background in pharmaceutical or biotech facility construction
• Familiarity with local building codes and planning requirements
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus
• Experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable
• Previous experience with cleanroom and controlled environment design is advantageous
• Knowledge of EU GMP guidelines and pharmaceutical validation processes
• Familiarity with Design & Build or EPCM project delivery models is a plus

Responsibilities

• Direct all civil, structural, and architectural design activities from concept to commissioning
• Lead multidisciplinary CSA teams including architects, structural engineers, and civil engineers
• Interface with client representatives, regulatory bodies, and local authorities
• Ensure all deliverables meet pharmaceutical industry standards (GMP, FDA, EMA requirements)
• Identify and mitigate technical risks across CSA disciplines
• Manage CSA budget allocation and cost control measures
• Deliver CSA milestones in alignment with the overall project timeline
