Job summary

This position involves maintaining critical infrastructure in data centers, requiring shift work across multiple locations within a 20-minute radius of Høje-Taastrup. The role includes responding to onsite incidents, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent with experience in mission-critical services or related fields.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an operations specialist in areas such as electrical, mechanical, or controls.
  • Inspect facility equipment and grounds for unsafe conditions and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track equipment and manage maintenance requests.
  • Lead incident response teams for abnormal operational conditions and coordinate corrective repairs.
  • Develop and follow emergency operating procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform various types of maintenance and repairs with minimal oversight.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and provide guidance to junior colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.

Skills

  • Hands-on understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in critical environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical trade certification or higher education preferred.

Tools
