Job summary

A Control System Engineer is sought to design and specify control strategies and software functionality for advanced refrigeration systems. This role involves close collaboration with embedded software engineers to translate system behavior into clear requirements, ensuring that solutions meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Translate system behavior and performance requirements into specifications for the embedded software development team.
• Define and specify new system features and control strategies for refrigeration controllers.
• Collaborate with embedded software engineers, hardware engineers, and external partners.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
• Provide technical input to service and quality teams.

Qualifications

Personal qualities

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).
• Experience in control systems engineering.
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools such as Simulink.
• Knowledge of control design, estimation, and system-level thinking.
• Experience with thermodynamic systems is a plus but not required.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (Danish is a plus).
• Structured, curious, and analytical.
• Strong problem-solver with a technical mindset.
• Quality-conscious and results-driven.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.
• Collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership.
