Contract Manager

Job summary

The role involves leading contract management teams to maximize value through effective negotiation and management of client contracts. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Membership in World Commerce and Contracting or National Contract Management Association is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management teams across large projects, understanding client needs and account strategies.
• Develop and manage contract management staff performance across multiple projects.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve commercial and contract risks, ensuring favorable outcomes.
• Engage in pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, and negotiate commercial outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with client counterparts.

Skills

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in contract management with complex deals.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with client executives.
• In-depth understanding of commercial contracting regulations and practices.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with contract management software and tools is beneficial.
