Job summary

The role involves developing and executing logistics strategies for construction materials and managing vendor relationships to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, ideally within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with data center or large-scale industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, customs regulations, and construction logistics.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP, and project management tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors and coordinate across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics strategies for materials including steel, concrete, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with specifications and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and site delivery.
• Oversee staging, storage, and just-in-time delivery to minimize site congestion.
• Collaborate with construction managers and engineering teams to align logistics with project phases.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies such as buffer stock and alternative sourcing.
• Use ERP systems and construction platforms to track procurement and delivery.
• Maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders on logistics performance.
