Job summary

The role involves overseeing commissioning projects for data centers in the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with quality and budget standards. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance data center capacity delivery and manage the commissioning process from start to finish.

Qualifications

  • Relevant technical engineering experience or a Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Reliability, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in data center facility maintenance, operation, construction, and/or commissioning.
  • Significant experience with mechanical or electrical test equipment.
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning projects for Austria or Denmark and the EMEA region.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for quality and cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct construction site inspections to ensure quality assurance and commissioning processes.
  • Manage the commissioning process, including scope and schedule.
  • Regularly report on construction progress, QA/QC, and commissioning metrics to management.
  • Coordinate with vendor project managers and manage client representatives to align on project scope, schedule, and budget.

Skills

  • Strong project management skills with a focus on strategy and development.
  • Ability to refine practices and develop methods for effective commissioning procedures.
  • Vendor oversight and performance management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant engineering field is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical test equipment is essential.
