Job summary

An experienced Commercial Lead is needed to manage complex construction contracts for a significant Mission Critical Data Center project in Denmark. This role focuses on overseeing commercial and contractual elements, emphasizing risk management, change control, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of commercial management experience in a senior role within large-scale construction projects, preferably in Mission Critical/Data Centers in Europe.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Danish construction law and contract administration.
• Familiarity with main industry standard forms of contract.
• Proficient in contract risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract administration and commercial management for a large-scale mission critical facility construction project.
• Review, negotiate, and manage construction contracts, subcontracts, and consultant agreements.
• Ensure adherence to contract terms, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Develop and implement change management processes, including the evaluation of change orders and claims.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow to maintain commercial viability.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports for senior management.
• Lead contract close-out processes and final account negotiations.
