Cloud Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves designing, building, and operating cloud-native services for a platform that supports hearing solutions. Collaboration with product management and application teams is essential to create secure and scalable cloud services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in developing backend or platform services in production environments.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with regulated environments such as medical devices or health tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native backend services and APIs.
• Translate product requirements into maintainable cloud solutions.
• Support infrastructure-as-code and deployment patterns in Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in operational support and incident analysis.
• Collaborate with client application teams to ensure service functionality.

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and its services.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Application Insights or Prometheus.

Education

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
