About the role

Job summary

This role involves evaluating AI-generated auto insurance claims decisions and designing scenarios to test the robustness of AI systems. Contributors will work on a project basis, focusing on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective fraud detection within the claims process.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance, claims, legal, or financial services.
  • Recent experience in claims adjusting or similar roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of auto insurance coverage decisions and state-specific negligence rules.
  • AIC, CPCU, CIFI, or SCLA credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient written English skills (C1+ level).

Compensation

  • Assess the accuracy and compliance of AI-generated auto insurance claims decisions.
  • Create FNOL scenarios with intentional contradictions and outdated documents.
  • Develop and evaluate fraud-flagging scenarios using structured reason codes.
  • Construct subrogation test cases based on state-specific negligence rules.
  • Clearly document test cases with correct answers and policy citations.
  • Estimated workload of 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.
  • Earnings can reach up to $60 per hour, depending on experience and contribution pace.
