Job summary

The role involves managing day-to-day operations at a City Center showroom, focusing on guest relations, customer service, and event coordination while generating sales leads and supporting the local sales team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a retail showroom environment with a strong customer service track record.
  • Preferably 2+ years in the interior design industry.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers and provide exceptional service to foster long-term relationships.
  • Assist walk-in customers and those with appointments at the showroom.
  • Develop relationships with local design firms and generate sales through these connections.
  • Support the sales team with sample shipments and stock management.
  • Organize and execute events, ensuring qualified attendance and logistics are managed.
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness and order supplies as needed.
  • Log customer visits and leads in Salesforce.

Skills

  • Proven success in sales, marketing, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of the building or decoration market is a plus.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Salesforce for lead and customer management.
