About the role

Job summary

The role involves developing the Signaling System for the Future S-network, transitioning from GoA2 to GoA4. The engineer will work on various subsystems of the signaling system, including Traffic Management, Communication Based Train Control, and Data Communication Systems.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in advanced systems within a mass transit environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Proficiency in railway signaling systems, including design review, requirements management, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with automated systems and data communications.
  • Skills in system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong interface management capabilities with rolling stock and supporting systems.
  • Strong command of the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze technical specifications and requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings with colleagues.
  • Engage in testing and implementation of systems.
  • Develop test cases and document progress and results.
  • Review technical documentation from suppliers.
  • Provide strategic advisory services in the signaling area.

Skills

  • Experience with large, complex multi-supplier projects.
  • Ability to work in complex systems with a focus on high-quality technical solutions.
  • Eagerness to learn and build expertise in CBC signaling systems.
  • Commitment to structured work processes and effective documentation.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
