About the role

Job summary

The Business Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing non-financial risks, along with compliance and audit recommendations, within the client journey framework. This role collaborates with senior stakeholders and is part of the Journey Leadership Team.

  • Ensure effective risk management while balancing risk-taking with the organization's risk appetite.
  • Support the Global Journey Owner in understanding the overall risk landscape and promote a strong risk and compliance culture.
  • Maintain an overview of policies, procedures, processes, and associated risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate risk insights into decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Implement risk management practices and controls in daily operations, including risk assessments and control reviews.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality documentation related to risk management.
  • Lead risk assessment workshops and follow up on risk, compliance, and audit recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong business understanding and commitment to continuous learning of the risk and compliance framework.
  • Stay updated on best practices and engage with the risk professional community.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage risks effectively.
  • Communicate risk issues and strategies clearly and effectively.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the organization.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in risk management or a related field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with risk management tools and frameworks is preferred.
