Business Development Manager (Equity Capital Markets, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves developing a suite of tokenized equity capital markets products, focusing on originating, structuring, and driving deals. The position is ideal for a self-starter with a strong capital markets network who can manage external relationships and the deal pipeline from inception to closure.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proactively identify and engage issuers, partners, investment banks, exchanges, and distribution platforms to source new deals.
• Act as the primary contact for external relationships, maintaining trust and communication with issuers and financial institutions.
• Lead negotiations and structure deal terms effectively.
• Build and manage a robust deal pipeline, tracking opportunities from lead to execution.
• Prepare pitches, proposals, and partner-facing materials to secure mandates and advance opportunities.
• Monitor market conditions, comparable transactions, and competitor activities to prioritize opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate deal execution through diligence and closing.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, equity capital markets origination, investment banking, or capital raising.
• Established network in VC/PE, investment banking, and institutional relationships.
• Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Strong understanding of equity capital markets and capital raising mechanics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for senior-level interactions.
• Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and build a pipeline from scratch.
• Familiarity with digital assets and tokenization, or a willingness to develop expertise in on-chain equity capital markets.
