About the role

Job summary

This internship position is designed for students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in business development within the international markets sector, specifically in the architecture and design industry. The internship will last for 12 months, starting in July/August 2026.

Qualifications

  • Completed an undergraduate degree and currently enrolled in postgraduate studies that will not conclude before the internship ends.
  • Strong interest in design and architecture.
  • Background in architecture, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Copywriting experience with the ability to summarize key information concisely.
  • An eye for graphic design is beneficial.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and organized.
  • Fluency in German, French, or Dutch is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with InDesign is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Development team and Design Directors with project pursuits and client management.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Prepare and manage marketing and outreach materials.
  • Track opportunities from lead stage to completion, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Contribute to proposals, bids, and presentations.
  • Support and organize marketing campaigns, industry events, and client visits.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and provide strategic advice to Design Directors.

Skills

  • Strong communication and copywriting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree completed; currently enrolled in postgraduate studies.

Tools

  • Familiarity with InDesign is preferred but not mandatory.
