Job summary

This role focuses on business development within the life sciences sector, specifically supporting the Global Central Lab business. The position is fully remote and involves approximately 20% travel. The successful candidate will engage with biotech companies to identify and qualify opportunities for analytical services, collaborating with internal teams to drive results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roles within healthcare, CRO, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales, with a proven track record in business development.

Responsibilities

  • Research and qualify opportunities with biotech companies needing analytical services.
  • Conduct targeted outreach to potential clients to communicate the company's value.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Subject Matter Experts to evaluate opportunities.
  • Coordinate the establishment of Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) with new clients.
  • Support the internal setup of new accounts from commercial and financial perspectives.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for a small portfolio of biotech accounts.
  • Gather information for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) using Salesforce.
  • Utilize business intelligence platforms to identify and advance new business opportunities.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experienced with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Education
