Business Analyst (Remote)

Job summary

This role focuses on enhancing data protection and governance within a complex enterprise environment by assessing data sensitivity and recommending secure solutions for data storage and access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with expertise in data governance and secure data storage.
• Experience in enterprise-level environments, analyzing data flows and systems usage.
• Familiarity with VDI platforms like Citrix or VMware Horizon is advantageous.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various business units to inventory systems and assess data sensitivity.
• Analyze data flows and identify high-risk storage practices for potential migration to secure solutions.
• Develop business cases for VDI migration, considering risk and operational impact.
• Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations to technology leadership.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills for bridging technical and business audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with data classification frameworks and security standards like NIST and ISO 27001 is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Tools

• Experience with endpoint management and IT asset management tools is a plus.
